Beatrice Ann Cox went home to be with her Lord, at the age of 81, on Jan. 24, 2013 after years of declining health. She was born in Minneapolis, MN to Albert and Nelta Carlson and lived her early years in Sanborn, ND as the oldest of 10 children. After graduating she moved to Seattle, WA where she was a telephone operator for Pacific Northwest Bell. She married Howard G. Ramsaur in 1956, moving to Tacoma where they built their home and their 3 children were born. She later worked for Northwest Chair and Jafco/Best. In recent years she moved to Bremerton to be closer to her family.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Joyce (Fred) Wagner, Delphine Olstead, Karen (James) Cruff, and LaVonne (Richard) Brandt; and brothers Arland and Myron Carlson. She is survived by her daughter Chelly (Larry) Wheeler; twin sons Jeff and Greg Ramsaur; granddaughters Rebecca and Jessica Wheeler; sisters Norine (Eddie) Bogle and Denise (Randolph) Hays; brother Virgil Carlson and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held February 2 at 11:00am at Olympic Evangelical Free Church, 14861 Silverdale Way NW, Poulsbo, WA.
