James Franklin Aseltine, 89, of Bremerton, WA went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2012. He was born in Tucker, Oklahoma on July 23, 1923. He joined the Army where he served faithfully for many years. After his time in the Army, Jim went to work at the PSNS where he retired. After retirement Jim still worked around town, with landscaping jobs and working at Our Saviors Lutheran Church doing maintenance/ janitorial services. He was married to Irene Betty Aseltine, they had two children, a son named Arnold Aseltine and daughter, named Anita Aseltine. He loved his family and friends. His favorite things were family vacations and playing pool with his friends. You would often see him having coffee around town with friends, one of his favorite past times. Jim is survived by his daughter, and granddaughter Amy Dick. He also has three great-grandchildren.

He will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA with his late wife, where he will receive Military Honors. If you would like to send your condolences, please sign the online guest book (link above).
